At Star of the Sea, we strive to deliver a quality mathematics curriculum through stimulating and engaging lessons which ignite an interest in the power and beauty of mathematics as well as the joy of problem solving. We want children to be equipped with the essential mathematics skills for everyday life and have an awareness of the range of possibilities available to them through mathematics. Children will learn to be resilient, learn from their mistakes and to reason mathematically.  We intend that children will be confident in transferring these skills across every aspect of life.
