In science, our topic this half term is electricity and one of our lessons involved making a set of traffic lights.
First, we drew the traffic lights then converted the drawing into a circuit diagram.
After that we had to gather the components needed and start to make the traffic lights.
It was challenging to make everything fit together. We had to strip the wires and use a screwdriver to connect them to the bulb holders. It took a lot pf perseverance but we got there in the end!
I enjoyed screwing the wires and bulbs in – Caleb.
It was interesting learning something new – Marnie.
We found our own way to make the circuit and it was easier – Joe.
We persevered and got there in the end. It was very satisfying – Will.
